The sculpture is made of sandstone, which is already somewhat weathered and has developed a patina. The figures are approximately 1.50 m tall. There are three female figures, each with their heads turned to the left. The following text describes the figures from left to right, as seen by the viewer. The figure on the far left is the largest of the figures depicted. She has long hair and a pronounced nose and lips. She rests her chin on her left hand, as seen from the viewer's perspective. Her right arm is bent, supporting her left arm. The figure wears a dress, the skirt of which is clearly visible below her arms.
The middle figure stands close to the figure on the far left, so the left half of her body is hidden behind the first figure. The middle figure also has long hair and a clearly recognizable nose and chin, but her eyes are depicted more subtly. Since the left half of her body is not visible, only her right arm is recognizable, which is pointing downwards and is only hinted at. This figure is also wearing a dress.
The outer right figure is significantly smaller. It represents a child. This can be seen from the facial features. It stands slightly behind the other figures. The left arm is raised towards the mouth, conveying a fearful attitude. The child can be identified as a girl by her dress.
